Ajit falls in love with Anju (Asha Parekh), the daughter of a local landlord. The village is terrorized by Jabbar Singh (Vinod Khanna), a ruthless bandit who kills anyone who opposes him. Ajit decides to take on Jabbar and protect the villagers. However, things take a turn when Jabbar kidnaps Anju and challenges Ajit to come unarmed to his hideout.
